It’s October, which means Halloween is fast approaching. It also means many stores are now stocking their shelves with Halloween decor. Living in an apartment means no porch or front lawn to decorate. But you can still get creative in decorating the interior of your place. Here are some great Halloween decor ideas for apartments.
Cobwebs & spiders
This is a must for any Halloween fanatic. Spider webs are easy to put up and take down, and can be placed anywhere to create a spooky atmosphere. Hang cobwebs on bookcases, door frames or even in the corner of the walls. Include spiders for an added touch.
Window stickers
Get creative with stickers that can easily be put on your windows to startle passersby. Using Halloween decals, like skeletons, witches, bats and ghosts, is one of the easiest ways to decorate your apartment for Halloween.
Skeletons on the balcony
Don’t have a front lawn? No problem. You can still have fun making your balcony creepy. Get some skeletons and position them sitting on chairs, leaning over the railing, hanging from the ceiling or even laying on the floor peeking their heads out. There are so many ways to get creative using skeletons on the balcony.
Flying bats
If you have a covered balcony, hang up bats so they appear to be flying in the wind. You can also hang them from the ceiling inside your apartment, or from window frames and door frames. Flying bats can basically be placed on any ceiling to create an eerie effect. Make these yourself with black poster board, or purchase ready-made ones.
